Some Children's Books To Consider

The best (Biblically faithful, God-centered, Christ-focused) books for Children are not usually on the front display at your Christian books store. My wife and I are always looking for good materials to share with our kids. Here are a few good starting points. I do not own these, but am adding them to my wishlist. Anyone willing to contribute a review will be warmly received. Amazon has all positive customer reviews for these titles. Thanks to Amy's Humble Musings and Rev. Weaver.

Big Thought for Little Thinkers, is a four volume series teaching on Salvation, the Bible, the Trinity and Missions. It is aimed at ages 4-8. The author is a missionary and Seminary student. Check the publishers site for a description.

Most of All, Jesus Loves You, by Noel Piper.
God Knows My Name, by Debby Anderson.
The Big Picture Story Bible, by David Helm.
These three are discussed on Amy's Humble Musings and I will defer to her reviews.

Tony,

A new Christian Media site should be launching in the next few months. I haven't heard of a date yet, but there will be a children's section there (of which I'll be a reviewer). Keep in touch. I think you might enjoy the resource in the works.

We will be reviewing all types of Christian media from a reformed perspective.
