Scouting the Internet for Children’s Ministry Resources

I have been busy the last few days searching for God-centered resources for children’s ministry on the Internet. Google keeps telling me I am dreaming. I am starting to get a good idea of who is out there but I need some help. If you know of any churches, denominations, Para-churches or individuals that meet the following description let me known.

WANTED:

  • Ministry to Children that is about GOD’S GLORY not only about our wants.
  • Ministry to Children that is BIBLICAL not only relevant.
  • Ministry to Children that is PASTORAL not only about programs.
  • Ministry to Children that is ESSENTIAL not only necessary.
  • Ministry to Children that is SPIRITUAL not only pragmatic.
  • Ministry to Children that promotes CHRISTIAN SERVICE not just volunteerism.
  • Ministry to Children that is GOSPEL-DRIVEN not Fad-driven.
  • Ministry to Children that draws parents to CHRIST not only to our church.
  • Ministry to Children that is about valuing GOD not only teaching values.
  • Ministry to Children that BRIDGES GENERATIONS not segregates the church.
  • Ministry to Children that knows that GOD values children.
  • Ministry to Children that aim to change the HEART not only teach good behavior
  • Ministry to Children that is motivated by a deep joy in GOD.
  • Ministry to Children that will not hide deep truth from our Children.
  • Ministry to Children that is age-appropriate.
  • Ministry to Children that will not use age-appropriateness as an excuse for shallow teaching.
If you know anyone with these goals, please let me know. Ultimately, “Children’s” Ministry is not entirely different than “Adult” Ministry. I think our overspecialized Evangelical culture has gone too far. More on that issue later.
